Innovative well technologies in Public Joint Stock Oil Company Bashneft — successful implementation of Cup2Cup technology

As the share of hard-to-recover reserves in the total volume of oil production grows, the search for the most technologically and cost-effective solutions in field development planning becomes more and more urgent.

In the perimeter of PJSC ANK Bashneft, a combination of the technology of building a horizontal well of small diameter (102 mm), conducting multi-stage hydraulic fracturing (MSHF) and using a small-sized submersible pumping unit showed high efficiency.

During the multi-stage hydraulic fracturing, a selective well assembly of NEKKO LLC was used – a Russian development that allows all operations to be carried out in one trip.
